  1. Hahahaha! I love doing selfies with my girls. They always make crazy faces. Also, I got a little burned yesterday, then today got a message from my dermatologist about some biopsies, and he basically said I needed to live under a tent. Or wear sun protection at all times. Kinda the same.

    1. I feel your pain. When I see my derm, he always ends the visit with this sentence, spoken very slowly: "Now, the OBJECT here is to get NO SUN WHATSOEVER on ANY PART of your body."

And I smile and nod and scream (in my head): HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE???

    2. PS I hope your biopsies are clear. Good thoughts and love to you.

    1. We had a great time, thanks! Of course I have to say that because my family reads this blog.

Ha ha, just kidding, family. :p

  4. Awesome.

Oh, and when you achieve the goal of no sun whatsoever? Your vitamin D levels drop and they get nervous about that tell you to go out in the sun because it's the best way to fix the D problem...

    It's a scam.

  5. 9 words? You clever girl!

Great photos! You have a lovely family.

(My daughter and I take a lot of selfies, too.)

    1. SO awkward. It's in our blood. No one would be this way on purpose. :)

  9. You're the best. So refreshing to not see more "perfect" vacation photos.

    1) We still love photo bombing
    2) I got way too much sun -- put sunscreen on the kids. Not on me.

    1. Believe me, there are no perfect vacation photos from my family. We are all the worst photographers ever.

This year I totally slacked on the sunscreen for everyone. My son (and his friend) were pink after the first day. Oops.

    1. I know, but one word? It's never enough.

My kids have been sleeping on the beach since they were babies. Sometimes we join them. It really is a little slice of heaven.
